Thank you to all the folks that attended our first annual Spring Boating Day!! Here is a look at the exhibits we had on site for the event.
Shannon Point Marine Center was on site with touch tanks to acquaint the locals with marine organisms in Burrows Bay.
Puget Soundkeeper Alliance was onsite and offered free Clean Boating Kits.
Skagit Conservation Education Alliance (SCEA) provided a Bi-Valve Water Cleaning Demonstration.
Cap Sante Marine offered information on the difference between zinc and sacrificial anodes plus vendor specials!
Bob’s Chowder Bar offered their mouth watering clam chowder which has been voted the Best Clam Chowder in Anacortes for 6 years in a row!
“Boating in the Bay, Keep it Clean” display was offered by EnviroStars. In 2005 Skyline Marina was awarded the highest rating attainable in the EnviroStars Program. The 5-star level of performance concurrently qualifies our facility to be designated as an official Washington State “Clean Marinas.”
North Island Boat offered The latest information about copperless bottom paint and when that will go into effect.
